The dominance of the brightly lit mosque in the background along with the star at the edge of the last remaining daylight to me is the essence of the mysterious world of marrakech rooftops in the nighttime.

I used a background flash on a bright afternoon, with a little exposure compensation to try to emphasize the subject without taking away the key of the kite lines leading off to the horizon.
